KVD Alchemist Palette!

Ahhh I’m so excited for this post, because I’ve been dying for this palette. I mean first of all, look at this packaging. So pretty.img_2166

I will say that the actual product is much smaller than I expected. I was hoping it would be a little bigger than standard eyeshadow size, but it doesn’t bother me that much.img_2167

Here they are swatched. I did use a primer underneath and some Chill setting spray to really bring out the color. From left to right it’s {Pink} Opal, {Ultra Violet} Amethyst, {Blue} Saphyre, and {Green} Emerald.

I was also curious as to how it would look against black as a topper, so I grabbed my black liquid lipstick and swatched them on top of that.

As far as texture goes, the consistency is very smooth and silky. It’s super easy to apply and blend. I will say because it’s of a holographic nature, it’s easy to get carried away during application and you won’t notice until you shift your face to hit the light correctly or in pictures. I may or may not have gotten a little happy with it, so go a little at a time. I actually used the {Green} Emerald in the corner of my eyes & my cheekbones for the look I did with the BlackMoon Cosmetics Myth. This palette is $32 (that’s $8 a shadow) and I picked it up at Naimies.

Let me know if you’ve done any cool looks with these shadows because I want to see!!
