E.L.F. Bronzers

IMG_1202

I have been wanting to try the E.L.F. products, but nothing really ever stand out to me. I know they’re blushes are really loved, but the colors are never ones I really need. I saw these bronzers at Target, and since I don’t really have a lot of bronzers, I thought they might be nice to buy. Also these were like $3 each, so I figured if I didn’t like it, I didn’t waste a ton of money (or I could return them).

This is the Golden Bronzer palette. As you can see they are SUPER light, and not very pigmented. The colors are still really pretty, butΒ it’s too pale for me to use as a bronzer. I would use it as a highlighter though. It would be super subtle.

This is the Warm Bronzer palette. I don’t know why my arm is such different colors, but I took the picture in the exact same spot as the other one and within 10 mins of each other. Nevertheless, you can see how much warmer this palette is. I definitely could use this as a bronzer. Especially to get a really glow-y bronze look. Fair people may not want to use this. Since it is SUPER warm, it might look orange on those who are REALLY fair.

I will admit since getting these, I don’t tend to reach for them very often, but if you’re looking for a cheap shimmery bronzer, I would recommend these (the lighter shades could be used individually as a highlighter too). The only reason why I don’t reach for these often is I tend to contour with bronzer, and these don’t have enough color payout for that. If it was actually summer though, I probably would reach for these just to get the glow-y bronze look.

Have any of you tried these products? If so, how did you feel about them?
